Marcie BiancoMarcie Bianco, PhD, is the managing editor of the Clayman Institute at Stanford University. She is a contributing editor at Curve magazine and a columnist at the Women’s Media Center. Winner of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association’s Excellence in Online Journalism Award in 2016, her journalism and editorial writing can be found both online and in print at Pacific Standard, Quartz, Rolling Stone, Salon, and Vanity Fair, among other outlets.
Bianco has an undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard (cum laude); a MSt in Women's Studies from the University of Oxford (Hertford College); and both a MA and a PhD in English Literature from Rutgers University. Her academic publications in journals and book collections run the gamut, from Christopher Marlowe to Gertrude Stein, trans-inclusive feminism to pop culture poetics. She has taught literature, composition, and social justice courses at Rutgers University, Fordham University, John Jay College, and Hunter College. Bianco writes, lectures, and makes media appearances on the topic of ethics, from feminism to race relations. A Lambda Literary Fellow in Nonfiction in 2013, her current creative writing projects include an autofiction about female academic affairs and a collection of feminist essays. Mona thompsonMona Thompson is an improv performer, teacher, and coach. She began improvising in high school, continued in college as a member of the Stanford Improvisors, and never looked back. Currently, Mona is an ensemble member at Un-Scripted Theater Company and performs regularly with her two-woman group, Mona and Shara Do Improv. She teaches at BATS Improv, San Mateo High School, and Stanford University in the English for Foreign Students summer program. nita singh kaushalNita Singh Kaushal is the Founder of Miss CEO, a company that offers world-class leadership education, mentorship, and career exploration opportunities to empower young women and inspire them to become great leaders. Since 2011, Miss CEO has trained thousands of children, young women, and professionals all over the world. Nita graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two sons.

shiza shahidShiza Shahid is an entrepreneur, investor, speaker and women’s rights advocate. She is passionate about leveraging philanthropy, venture capital, technology and the media to drive scalable social impact.
Shiza co-founded the Malala Fund with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, and led the organization as founding CEO. She is now focused on supporting mission-driven startups whose financial success makes the world a better place through her seed- stage VC Fund and Platform, NOW Ventures. She is an advocate for women entrepreneurs, and hosts Women’s Story-telling Salons bringing together leading female entrepreneurs to collaborate. She is the host of the new USA Today show ASPIREist. Shiza grew up in Pakistan as a vocal advocate for social change. She graduated from Stanford University with University Distinction. She was a business analyst with McKinsey & Company. She is also a graduate of Singularity University where she studied how to apply technology towards the goal of solving gender inequities. Shiza has received many awards for her work including Times 30 under 30 World Changer, Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur, WEF Global Agenda Council, Tribeca Institute Disruptive Innovator. She has been featured in multiple publications including Forbes, Fast Company, Elle, Glamour, Town and Country, The Edit, CNN, ABC, Al Jazeera, MSNBC and others. Shiza is a prominent speaker on millennial and women’s entrepreneurship.
